After the dramatic opening major of the year we now have the US Open to look forward to in June where the world's top golfers will battle it out at the Congressional Country Club. In the ante-post betting there is little to pick between the best golfers, with not one player dominating the US Open Odds.

The Brits, and current World No.1 & 2, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood appear to be the tow favourites in what is looking like an extremely open US Open. Graeme McDowell was the 2010 US

Competition: US Open

Tiger Woods won't be playing in the U.S Open this year due to lingering left leg injuries. I'm not a Woods fan, but I don't want to see him struggling with his health. At 35 he should be right in the prime of his golfing career, and it's a shame he can't compete right now.

Had Woods played, I don't think he would have contended anyways. His game is a mess with only the occasional flash of his former self. He needs to get his health 100% before returning. So let's move on from Woods to the top U.S Open contenders that are competing and looking to add the coveted major title to their resume. This year's tournament is being held at the 7500+ yards Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

2011 U.S. Open Championship Tournament will start on June 16, so do you want to watch U.S. Open Championship online on PC?

The United States Open Championship, commonly known as the U.S. Open, is the annual open golf tournament of the United States. It is the second of the four major championships in golf and is on the official schedule of both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. It is staged by the United States Golf Association (USGA) in mid-June, scheduled so that, if there are no weather delays, the final round is played on the third Sunday, which is Father’s Day.

So do you want to watch 2011 U.S. Open live stream on PC? And is there any way to watch live golf games online?

Today, just need to follow this link below, and start to watch live on PC now!

1) Luke Donald

Donald is the world's number one player, and no one has played better in 2011. How about 8 straight top 10 finishes on the PGA tour including a win at Accenture Match Play Championship? He also won the European Tour's BMW PGA Championship in May. Donald does not having a stellar record at the U.S Open.

He is without a top 10 career finish, but he's playing too well not to be considered this year's favorite. He is an accurate driver of the ball and that always helps at a U.S Open.

All About Sports Odds of Winning: 8 to 1

2) Phil Mickelson

I read somewhere recently that if Tiger Wood's career was in freefall, Mickelson's was headed in the same direction just at a slower pace. Whoah take it easy, last I looked Mickelson is ranked #5 in the world, won earlier this year Houston and has 4 top 10 finishes.

Mickelson has 9 top 10 finishes at the U.S Open. If Mickelson can have just a decent driving week, he'll contend.

All About Sports Odds of Winning: 12 to 1

3) Lee Westwood

Lee Westwood has been a fixture in the World top 5 for months and has spent some time in the number one position. Westwood has played most of the year on the European and other World Tours this season with 2 wins. The last time Westwood finished outside the top 25 of a major he played in was at the Masters in 2009. He's contended at the U.S Open before and looks to be one of the favorites this week.

All About Sports Odds of Winning: 15 to 1

4) Rory Mcilory

The 22 year old Irish phenom was headed to towards his first major win in April at the Masters. He had a 4 stroke lead heading into round 4, but shot a painful to watch 80 and fell out of contention. There's no question Mcilory has the game and talent to win multiple majors including this one. The question is how much scarring will the Masters do to him?

All About Sports Odds of Winning: 18 to 1

5) Steve Stricker

You could argue that Steve Stricker has been the most consistent American golfer over the last 2 years. Since 2009 Stricker has 6 wins and 24 top 10 finishes. All that is lacking for the 44 year old is a major title. He has 4 straight top 30 finishes at the U.S Open. He doesn't hit is far, but Stricker does everything else well. He's coming off a recent win at the Memorial.

All About Sports odds of Winning: 20 to 1

6) K.J. Choi

Who doesn't like someone nicknamed the Tank? Choi doesn't have a good record at the U.S Open, but he does have a win at the AT&T National in 2007. That's the PGA tour event held at Congressional, so he should feel good on this course. He won the biggest title of his career at the Player's Championship in May. He's a little like Mickelson in that his driving will be the key to whether he contends or not.

All About Sports odds of Winning: 25 to 1

7) Martin Kaymer

You can't overlook the World's number 3 ranked player Germany's Martin Kaymer. Kaymer already has a major, the 2010 PGA, and he finished T8 at last year's U.S Open. Kaymer is not the most accurate player off the tee, but his most recent U.S Open proves he can play those U.S Open style courses.

All About Sports odds of Winning: 30 to 1

8) Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar has 8 top 10 finishes this year, and has moved into the World's top 10. Kuchar is finally fulfilling on the promise he showed as a collegiate golfer at Georgia Tech in the late 90s. He was T6 at the U.S Open in 2010. Kuchar is also 16th on tour in driving accuracy. That's an important stat for a U.S Open.

All About Sports odds of Winning: 33 to 1

9) Dustin Johnson

I look at Dustin Johnson the same way I look at Rory Mcilory. Those are two young players with loads and loads of raw talent, but have the scar tissue of throwing away majors in the 4th round. Johnson was cruising at the U.S Open at Pebble Beach last year and entered round 4 with a 3 stroke lead only to shoot an 82 and finish T8. He hits it a mile and if he drives it straight, he’ll have a huge advantage over a large portion of the field.

All About Sports odds of Winning: 35 to 1

10) Ernie Els

Apparently picking a South African to win a major in recent years is a pretty good bet. I'm going with South African Ernie Els as a darkhorse candidate here. The 2-time U.S Open Champion will be the only player in the field with a U.S Open win (1997) at Congressional and just last year finished 3rd in the U.S Open. Outside of Woods, Els has been the best U.S Open golfer the past 2 decades.

The Masters is now the only major Woods has played every year since turning pro. He was recovering from knee surgery in 2008 and did not play the British Open and PGA Championship.

“It’s been a frustrating and difficult year, but I’m committed to my longterm health,” Woods said. “I want to thank the fans for their encouragement and support. I am truly grateful and will be back playing when I can.”

The question is when he returns.

Woods is recovering from injuries to his left knee ligaments and left Achilles, and his Achilles is believed to be giving him more trouble.

“My man is hurting,” Arjun Atwal, a close friend and frequent practice partner, said last week at the Memorial. “He’s in a boot, he’s on crutches. Not doing good.”

The most recent of four surgeries on Woods’ left knee came a week after the 2008 U.S. Open, which Woods won in a playoff for his 14th major. He had reconstructive surgery and was out for eight months, then returned and won seven times the following year before his personal life imploded on Thanksgiving night in 2009.

Woods was tied for the lead at the turn in the final round of the Masters this year and wound up in a tie for fourth. But he said he hurt his knee and Achilles hitting from an awkward stance in the pine straw on the 17th hole of the third round at Augusta National, and he was limping toward the finish on Sunday. He described it as a “minor injury” in April.

Woods sat out the US Open Championship, then tried to play in The Players Championship, only to withdraw at 6-over par after nine holes because of what he called a chain reaction of pain in his knee, Achilles and eventually his calf.

With no dominant force in world golf and the rankings seemingly changing every couple of weeks, this year’s US Open promises to be one of the most competitive tournaments in years. European Tour players currently hold all of the major golf crowns and so can the American challenge be halted again?
The favourites
This year’s US Open will be held at the Congressional Country Club for the first time since 1997. Ernie Els was the victor on that occasion and the South African can be backed at 66/1 to win his first major since 2002.
Phil Mickelson is traditionally a decent performer in the bigger events. Whilst the left hander is in good form, it’s worth remembering that Mickelson hasn’t won a major on a course other than the Augusta National since 2005 and so the 14/1 on offer doesn’t look amazing value.

Last year's winner Graeme McDowell can be backed at 33/1
Tiger Woods won the 2009 AT&T National at the Congressional and so does have a victory under his name at this course. The three times US Open champion has a great record in this tournament, but with concerns over his injured knee and erratic form there aren’t likely to be many takers even at 16/1.
The form player in world golf right now is Luke Donald with top ten finishes in an incredible twelve of his last thirteen tournaments. Donald has proved that he can compete with the very best on the PGA Tour week in, week out and I really expect the talented Englishman to go close at 12/1.
World number one Lee Westwood can be backed at 12/1 to win his first major whilst reigning US PGA champion Martin Kaymer is available at 25/1. Last year’s US Open champion Graeme McDowell is 33/1 to retain his title.
